Summary of the Paper Design: single centre, randomised, prospective non-blinded trial Objective: to evaluate the efficacy of the Quick-Wee method Outcome of interest: voiding of urine within five minutes (binary outcome) Intervention: genital cleaning for 10 seconds with sterile water at room temperature, followed by continued rubbing of the suprapubic area in a circular pattern with gauze (soaked in cold saline) held by forceps Reference standard:
